Onion Education is a consulting firm that was founded in Spain in 1999 with the aim of developing innovative solutions in higher education and bringing a unique perspective in the challenging and constantly changing field of education.

Juan Martí
Founder and president of Onion EducationGraduate in Law and Economics from the University of Barcelona and PhD in Law by the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where he was a professor of Econometrics and Constitutional Law. Juan founded Onion Interactive, one of the three global companies (next to Digital Lava and Loudeve, USA) that offered solutions for processing movements in interactive videos. Moreover, he was the driving force behind the establishment of the University of Chicago campus in Europe. At the present time, Juan is the Founder and President of Onion Education.
Peter Simons
CEO of Onion EducationGraduate in Electrical Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Peter has a long history of working with American and European companies. He began as a Project Engineer managing the roll out of large telecom projects at AT&T. Peter also taught Accounting and Finance at business schools in Barcelona, Switzerland, and Singapore. Currently, Peter is an advisory board member at Brown Eagle BV in the Netherlands, a B2B eCommerce platform, where he had an important role in its founding. At the present time, Peter is the CEO of Onion Education.
Alvaro Benejam
Corporate Secretary and Legal Counselor of Onion EducationGraduate in Law from the University Abat Oliba CEU. Alvaro practices Commercial and Finance Law, he has been helping companies to grow for more than 20 years. He has built a strong network in the Law sector in Europe and in the United States of America, which has led him to acquire a deep knowledge about both legal systems. Since 2012 he is the Managing Partner of the law firm BMO ABOGADOS. He works as a judicial administrator in bankruptcy proceedings, appointed by the commercial courts of Barcelona. At the present time, Alvaro is the Corporate Secretary and Legal Counselor of Onion Education.
Roger Martí
COO of Onion EducationGraduate in ATPL (Aeronautics). Roger now has more than 20 years of experience in the airline sector. He also has a long experience in running international companies in different business areas, as a manager and as administrator. Roger is founder of several companies that are managing foreign funds investing in real estate as well as a tourism company and a manufacturing & logistics company. At the present time, Roger is the COO of Onion Education.
